SOULMATES

"SOULMATES".. two bodies one SOUL... Well at least thats how the word sounds to me.. So whats so special in this word that it brings a WOW feeling when we think about it??  May be its the vague definition we have furnished with time.. "Happiness.." "Love.." and "Until the end..."
Soulmate--Too heavy a word.. We often don't realize that with heavy words come great responsibilities and inevitable adjustments....

"Soulmate" a person we confide in while growing and after growing up.... But it just makes me think... If theres only one soulmate for each of us.. (Most certainly YES though hard to believe) then,  who were those whom we once thought were are soulmates.. Do we all fake it with the wrong ones until we find the true love of our life?? Or we fake they weren't right just coz we couldn't reach "till the End" with them.. Where does all the love go after a relationship ends??? Perhaps, In this world of transitory relationships.. Does a word like Soulmate be considered permanent??
With increasing rates of divorces n trends of short term relationships... Do we all need to redefine the whole concept of Soulmate...And, how well can we define whether we need to moan or move on with the broken relationships...

May be its just that filling up of void that we look out for.. Or may b we are too afraid to be with ourselves and just look out for someone to always make us realize who we are, and most importantly accept us as we were made!!! And, does this mean that the only way to complete ourselves and for reaching "The End" of our life we just have to keep looking for someone....

Well, does liking and knowing the two words.. SOUL and MATE can give an understanding to the "SOULMATE"...And as they say.. our soulmate completes us... So, do we really need "A knight in shining Armour" or "Badshah on a white horse" to complete us...  Or its just hyped because we know that in this impermanent life the hunt is for something thats gonna stay forever with us and promise to be true to us in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, and will love, honor and protect us all the days of life..

Well.. I wonder, why don't we look out for someone who accepts the incomplete in us... Y does life always have to be chased rather than just lived... SOULMATES are definitely decided in HEAVEN.. So why do we always have to chase our choices.. It is may be because we need to realize the worth of it before we get it and tumble on all the wrong ones till we find the Right one for us. And, as a wise man once Said.. "One can't experience Happiness until we know whats Sadness... "

All said and done.. Hopelessly romantic and seeking love (Blame my love for Hindi Cinemas :P) I still wait for my man who in this world of hurt and pain helps me through the rain... :)

LIFE - A Fairy Tale !!!!

Well as most of fairy tales often begin with "Once upon a time" I wonder.. whether they r actually meant just for once...

Surviving on them while growing up, and believing from magic brush to tooth fairies.. I realise how easily these memories fade away coz in this whole process of growing up.. all we can remember is the demons that haunts every where especially in d voices of our own head..

I Stare at those magical words so as to understand that they happen once in a while and for the rest of the life its just an ordinary time beating those demons...
Gettin past fairy tales, in d world full of fantasies for the most part.. guess people aren't that different.. Black or white, male or female, pretty much everyone wants d same things from life... happiness n peace in their hearts...

Perhaps the only difference is that younger generation seem to think that these things lay somewhere in d future.. while older believes that they lay in the past... For most of us the life simply keeps on shuffling from past to future and viceversa..
Now i think, do fairy tales dat always ended with "Happily ever after" can be believed?? It  just gets more and more difficult to turn away from our soul's purpose as we reach the end..

As rightly said, "Happily ever after happens Once in a while"

Well... Happy ending or not.. there are always lessons learnt and each of the experience touch us the very way like every " Once upon a time in a lala land" did.... :)
